I can't help feel too much of this 'let the software tell you' sort of thing removes from peoples' abilities. If you already got the ability then I doubt it'd effect you largely.
However, cats who don't bother about music, this will just perpetuate the lack of musicality in the tracks.
People who don't have that ability, don't really notice it - but it makes a tonne of difference. Hence why the world comes saturated with a tonne of poo music!

We're all about making our workflow easier...
What we do now is way easier than what was done 20 years ago......
Some engineers would say you're really not doing any work by recording into Pro Tools instead of into tape....
I definitely understand how it would definitely perpetuate into making music with less music......but that's up to the listener to enjoy it or not....thats' what you do it for...
