im no mod here, but im smart enough to know that you need to check yourself quickly man, you are asking to get hated on and banned in a flash. classic is right, you cant do that shit on your first post in any community man, that shit is wack. Second point, i dont know classic very well, nor have I heard many of his beats, but the few i have heard were fresh, and sounded good. Classic has made many contributions to this community as far as a lot of things go, but especially making useful contributions to threads and helping noobs out and shit. I any case not by making little spam posts that have nothing to do with anything in the whole damn thread. btw, one of the most recent beat this! comps, classic won. that beat in any case was fucking fresh man, mad ill. The only beat i have heard from you is the one im gonna hear when you get your ass kicked off. I dont wanna dick ride classic man, like i said i barely know him, but i do know a few things and I mos def know that a lot of people (even you and I) can learn alot of shit from this cat, ranging from a lot of shit like hardware to music theory. Just like classic can learn a lot of shit from other cats here including me (and maybe you too, hard to tell up to thus far though, you have shit to show for yourself except negativity). thats what its all about man, helping each other , and sharing opinions.
On topic:
Will has so much more credit in my eyes than Marshall ever has or will. How the hell is em gonna come up and start dissing some cat who was in the game making money and rapping when he was still at home whining for extra allowance or about his bedtime.
Pretty easy shot to be an outcast in hiphop at first being white and hard ass and actually being accepted and dissing some guy from a completely different era or style (much much softer smooth style), who else was he gonna be able to get away with dissing, come on man. Would you have laughed if he dissed krs one and gotten mad if they tried to diss him back? come on now man please. Plus i give props to will for dissin him back, that has alway been a part of hiphop, the battles and shit. mobb deep diss pac, pac disses back, etc. always been like that, no need to start crying about it now.

More people like his sh*t then u thing....And before you generalize the forum.. there's more people like MarkN who own ALL his albums.... Unlike myself... I own maybe 3 ...the first 2 and the E.Show.... But I still dont feel like his doing the game justice.... how like can the man rap about his family and his long gone ex-wife/baby mom and his trailer park for... I know tons of white rappers that grow up in the dirt, but they could rap about that and other things too... ie: THE BEASTIE BOYS...... almost the same comedic style of rap sometimes...

I guess Class meant to say that if it wasn't for people how made rap/hiphop known (the 1st cats, like Will, but also others like KRS, DMC, Flash...) , we wouldn't know rap... as for me, Will wasn't what gave me the urge to get into the beatmaking, but it's a possibility that he inspired other cats in the industry today to become rappers and such. And since he made hiphop accessible to the general public, it got more air time and more recognition... so it was more accessible for everybody, cuz it didn't stay an underground movement.
On another tip, any of you got to see a DJ Jazzy Jeff set? This guy is incredible, probably one of the best DJ's ever!!!

im not quite sure about that.... i think the UK was more influenced by the likes of Public Enemy and House of Pain rather than Will Smith, because of the 'screw everyone' attitude that they brought. the youth of UK were going through a hippy/anarchy ish period of time and 'It Take A Nation of Millions' was fantastic for them.
