Cold Truth

this really sucks. i took you all through the whole soap opera with the married woman and all that.
so now, i meet a girl while driving home. she was "WHOA" and so i spun around and came back. i asked her name and got her number. i asked if she sang and she said yes, and sang a little to prove she was legit. i figured, i can work with her then and see what happens later, as far as a hookup. i didnt stop her cause i thought she could sing, i stopped her cause i thought she was cute and then figured i would ask if she could sing.
well, gave me the numer where she was "always at", saying that it was easier to get a hold of her there. i'm thinking, she has got a man and doesnt want him to pick, or something along those lines, or she is telling the truth. no big deal thus far. so, we were supposed to kick it that weekend but she wasnt at the number she gave me, but i drove out there anyways (she lives in the town i used to live in, and still work in, but i moved about 30 miles away) because i had to get something from my moms house. she was nowehere to be found, and some kids took me to her house. she wasnt there either. i left pissed, but oh well, singers arent exactly rare...
a week later, last friday, i had just watched the laker game and was bored and wanted to make a beat, and what i was working on sounded more RnB than hip hop, so i figured i would give her a call and see whats up, you never know. she was there and i drove out and brought her back to my house. she sang a little but we didnt really get anything done, which is typical. it was more or less, "this is what i got and what i can do" and we just kicked it. we decided to hook up write, and hopefully record on tuesday.
she wasnt at the number she gave me, again, and since it is on my way home, i stopped by her house 9the one the kids showed me). her mom answers the door and her first question was "who are you, and how old are you?"
so right then... i knew what was going on. so, given my job situation and everything going on, i said i was 20. her mom was like, "she is 15, so dont be coming around here for her" and i just stood, turned, and walked away, stunned. she said she had just turned 18. thats cold to lie like that.
i wanted to hook it up, and i know i could have, but wanted to keep it professional for the time being.and i am damn glad i didnt. if i didnt ask her about singing,, i would have tried to hook it up and, well, who knows what could have happened to me after.
this was just another story i thought i would share with ya'll.. thats scandolous though. i am checking I.D from now on, hook up or professional, 21 or over. everytime. ya'll should do the same.
