the accent just takes getting used to in my opinion. it had to happen for southern artists. everyone had to get used to the country accent. uk emcees have the same problem emcees have everywhere; a lack of identity and individuality.

the accent is cool, i never really had a problem wit it. Baby Blue got a dope voice and her accent compliments her voice, same thing wit Lily Allen.

right, i am from south london, and i dont listen to no UK artist, heres why. i WILL admit now, that i hate grime music, but i HAVE heard some of the artists i usually say are SHIT actually spitting cleverly written stuff with clever punchlines, i just dont like that style or MC'in.
the reason there are tonnes of shit UK 'artists', is coz they are NOT artists, they see some typical grime song on channel u, then think that all it takes to 'rhyme' is too 'rhyme' the same fucking words wich is not infact rhyming, they also like to makesome wierd noise as aposed to rhyming a word for example ''u dont wanna fuck around with eurghkhkg'' and keep using tht noise instead of rhyming, they are shit and can get videos on channel u tht are home made coz know 1 seems to care tht they are shit. they are talentless and most ov there beats are too.
u then have the UK artists, who TRY to pass themselfs off as sounding american, there are many problems with this, 1 being tht they are NOT american and sound fake (wich they are) and 2) obviously americans wil see them as frauds and dismiss them as cheesey, also, uk cats will dismiss them saying they are trying to be american and not uk.. so they are instant flops.
there dont really yet seem to be that many people, if any, that can make a HIP HOP track whilst just being themselvs and not trying to force some fake style. exept for me, but i just been biding my time
i will tell u now, that Klashnekoff is dope in my opinion, deiffantely alot better than alot of american rappers i hear, check the track murder.
and as far as i think it was relic saying tht uk people saying they will shoot u etc is shit coz guns are illegal, dont get it twisted fam, over here there aint no shit like this tea and biscuit shit u thinkin of. its bare gritty around here man, bare shootings stabbing kidnapings. dont get me rong theres bare waste brehs who act big wen they just nuffing. but theres bare shootings and stabbings round my area that dont even get reported on tv or shit.
