I always wondered what was the point of remixes...why not use the beat for an entirely new song? Neither here no there, this is a comp of some of my fav remixes. I left some key ones off because this is just the 1st or 3 mixes but let me know what's your fav remix...

I might be able to answer that...lol. For me as a club DJ, remixes became very handy when I had the crowd on the floor, playing the original 12" and I wanted to change it up without changing the song. Sometimes it would actually blow cats minds but you have to be careful with them in that situation because you can easily lose the crowd if you introduce something new and they don't like it.
