If your talking bout having the game on lock, nobody. The game is wide open now. Even tho the south is the thing now. Everything now seems to have a southern feel to it as fars as beatz are concern. But there is no one person (ala biggie and tupac) that has the game on lock.

This is a thread to find out who y'all are feelin as of right now. Who is in your cd playa, mp3, whatever. I gotta keep it down south and say im feelin Little Brother right now. I think hip hop is in a very critical stage right now in which we could get eaten alive by the suits if were not careful. I would love to hear hip hop go right back to that old Tribe style like Little Brother is doing. Soft melodic sounds, and the rappers sound a little like the backpack rappers talib common and them.

I agree wit most of yall on the board. The game is pretty open. 50 may have a nice spot for himself but it's definitely still wide open. Would love to see Dead Prez blow, waiting for that Pete Rock Soul Survivors II.
