FL latest but its not you cant make beatz with older version but the new features are pretty good. What you're definitly missing out on with older versions ( as of 6.x ) is plugin delay compensation, if you havent noticed then you arent using it right. Second, the mixer is now much easier, improved fixed buffer and I can go on and on and on and on. I just get more practicle by each release.

i use fl 6 just because the amount of convenience it gives you. you can drag and drop wavs onto tracks, the have new effects like the mutliband compressor, and it looks better (to me).
