OT, just buy a real cheap analogue synth and call it a day since it will beat any plugin soundwise

I'm trying to find VSTs that don't sound 'futuristic' or modern, with no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Do you have a price range? If you're willing to do some research you can get a bunch of free ones and get a plugin that will mimic the aliasing, noisefloor, bias, bit depth, sample rate etc.

You can also research a specific machine and recreate the specs. Theres other ways too. All legit free

Indeed this can be true, depending on what type of sound you're going for.
