exactly, it's the same reason why you see movies where guys run in the middle of the road being chased by a car and theres thickets of trees right next to the road.

Or when they see someone walk by in their house and they've got this "hmmm that's peculiar" look on their face.

Just watched The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, a decent romp, very underrated. A bit more comedic than the first, but enjoyable nonetheless. Lots more money was put into this one and the set design shows. I remember watching this when it came out! Classic.

2, 3 and there was another one after that I think, they all were terrible! Nothing like the original. The most recent reboot of it was actually really good, you should check that one if you haven't already.

2 was decent, 3 wasn't very good though.
