What artist are being sampled

What are some of the artist that are sampled on Common's "Be" album.
I was also listening to Kev Brown's music. What type of samples are those.

you could always ask him LOL he is on myspace too...but thing is he probably will not tell you....its great when you can take a sample and have people wondering...hey where did he get that LOL....or make it sound like such a generic sound...I did an interview with Kev not too long ago, I was supposed to head out to a party he had but I couldn't make it.

as a no name producer... you're better finding obscure samples... Blaze, Kanye...etc. they have the clout to sample big names and keep alot of their publishing... we aren't so lucky right now...lol
