It's just to get people talking. Was supposed to drop on October 28th, Weezy put out a video that day saying he wanted to move it to December 9th because he has "too much material." Once Carter V got delayed people straight forgot it was ever even a thing. Unlike Detox, which people are STILL talking about. December 9th is coming quick, and the hype surrounding the project is non existent. Maybe if people think that Wayne and Baby are feuding over the album, they're more likely to buy the shit and try and figure out why Cash Money "didn't want to release the album." Simple media tactic in my opinion. Baby's got a new little pet project nowadays anyways... Yung Thug and Rich Homie Quan are getting all the attention and album/video budgets.
