Holmzini talking about hearing better beats on Gameboy got me thinking about how sweet video game music really is. My friend sent me some soundtrack from Donkey Kong Country 2 for the SNES the other day. that shit was good! i was like, damn! these monkeys know how to fuckin pizarty!

but seriously, look at games like Halo. that soundtrack is just so amazing. whoever wrote that shit is a genius. theres alot of great beats for games man.

do a lot of producers get started making beats for games because it seems like since thats such a huge industry good music for games would be in high demand?

holla back!

i defintely wanna get into doing that stuff.. CONTRA...FINAL FIGHT... FINAL FANTASY... and all the mentioed above are sikk... contra had serious music ... i recommend if u go that game play it and listen to the beats ..sikk!! lol ... the people who make video game music are most likely much more musically inclined than the average hip hop producer... some of the arrangments in games like castevania are crazy complex ..double dragon had sikk musik too!!! streetfighter!! ..haha im buggin .... but tricky i feel you that video game music is dope man

I know there is a danish guy living in New York who has made millions off making music for video games...so there's certainly money to be made.
