velocities in nnxt

i'm trying to configure reason's nnxt so when i hit a key lighter on my midi keyboard, it will play at a lower volume. When i hit harder, i'd like the volume to increase. I would think itd be set up like that by default, but i guess it isn't? Let me know! Thankss

ps. it works when i choose a stock sound, but when i'm trying to lay my drums in there, everything hits at the same velocity

I'm no expert but when I had my casio keyboard, I used it for general midi purposes and it only enabled me to play the notes without any velocity adjustments. When I purchased a E-mu x board I suddenly had velocity control over the sounds that I played. Other than that you would have to adjust the velocity bars with the pencil tool at the bottom of the sequencer.

oh just kidding, i found it. there is a little side panel on the left hand side of the nnxt that says velocity. all you have to do is turn up the level and youll be good to go.

YEAH THERE IS A VELOCITY BUTTON...I USE IT ALL THE TIME. DONT KNOW WHY I DID'NT THINK OF IT.
