But take head that they aren't magic, it still relies on your ability to perceive sound.

Anyway, I can vouch that you have a good set of monitors. Tho, pretty much anything is a massive upgrade from those devil-spawn abominations that apple tries to pass off as headphones.

I have the AV-40s and BX8s but keep in mind AV-40s are "speakers" not "monitors". I like mixing on them because most of the general public isn't listening to music through BX8s spec speakers. If you can make your music sound good on those AV-40s then you are doing your job.
