Dizzee Rascal is definately liked in the UK, hes played in every club when he drops a new single. but im not sure if hes liked so much by the hip hop purists if you know what i mean.

me personally, i hate all that UK grime ish, but i liked a couple of tracks off Dizzee's first album. he kinda fell off tho in my eyes with his latest single. trash.

When I said 'some crappy stuff like Dizzee Rascal' that was just my opinion.

I wouldn't consider myself a 'hiphop purist' or anything like that - I just don't really like his music...I don't really like the beats, I don't really like way of rapping/emceeing and I don't really feel inspired or interested by the lyrical content. But that's just me. As Rhyth said he's really popular in the UK..that kind of grime/garage/r'n'b kind of stuff seems to be far more popular than hiphop.
