so im on a bit of a political tip today.

what is fucking with this proposed smoking ban in public place, including pubs and clubs...

i mean what is a pub for, drink and SMOKING...

to all you non smokers who are going to tell me its not fair, ask yourselves this: If there is a market for non-smoking bars (in the UK) why arent there any already?

i know LA has a public smoking ban, and i think that sucks as well,

again, what about our civil liberties?

why not just encourage people to install Airport syle smoking area ventilation?

why? because the government is stepping closer and closer towards being a nanny state, telling us what we can and cant do, because it AFFECTS OUR OWN FUCKING HEALTH....

"OUR OWN FUCKING HEALTH!" if i want to fuck my body with fags (hahahaha) or even smack i should be allowed to!

Never before has an innocent group of people been so victimised, and yes SMOKERS are innocent people believe it or not!

i say LEGALIZE ALL, and i mean ALL drugs, cash in on the profits, and investigate the drugs thoroughly, rather than going on hearsay or dodgy government funded anti drug experiments

I MEAN FUCKING COME ON, BANNING SMOKING IN TENTS AND BUS SHELTERS! PLEASE HELP US GOD! SEND SOMEONE TO TAKE TONY AWAY!

what about the civil liberity of someone who doesnt want- or owrse yet, cant- be around someone who is smoking?

you are smoking, thatsup to you, thats your choice, but if i am shopping or eating at a restaraunt, i shouldnt have to be around smokers whose "civil liberty" is now impeding on my own health/comfort/etc

I support the ban 100%! I used to smoke cigarettes (for 5 years) and let me tell you something... Once you quit that shit, you really figure out how nasty it is.... I hate that shit now, it's the worst shit ever... I can't stand to be around that shit and I can't stand smelling like it... ARGH! Outlaw them shits, please!

fair play on your opinion mate, and i do respect that view, id be a cunt if i didnt...

but as i said, if there was a market for non smoking bars, there would be some.

non smokers and smokers alike have a free choice of where they go, if you know (not you personally) it is a smokey place then dont go to it, exercise your freedon of choice, this is a arguement i even picked up of a non smoker who works in bars....
she made the choice to quit the job.

and also, i know this is going to be controvertial, but how can my second hand smoke SERIOUSLY damage your health as a passive smoker (sorry, i know that has been forced upon almost everyone) but not mine, when i am inhaling 99.9% of the smoke.

and again, im not 100% sure about the facts we have been provided with BY GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, about the implications of passive smoking...

PERSONALLY, i belive quite a lot of the so called "facts" on passive smoking, are exaggerated, to SCARE people into not smoking, rather than letting them exercise their own freedom choice, with out ouside factors, trying to persude you otherwise...

but i do DEFINATELY see your point of view.

i just think that BANNING ANYTHING is wrong IMO, and more should be done to create better air conditioning.

Well, I would have to say that you are not inhaling 99.9% of your smoke... The smoke I hate is the shit that just comes from it burning... Usually second hand smoke from someone smoking (like when they exhale) is different (still nasty though)... If you weren't a smoker you'd understand... I smoked for years and years and thought I knew what it was lkike not smoking, I didn't... It's a massive, massive change... The shits are evil, all they do is make you smell bad and give you cancer (a horrible way to die if you ask me)... And It is your choice completely, I must respect that... But as a non-smoker, I would say it just cripples you in so many ways.... That shit is some of the worst stuff ever man... I remember I used to smoke (a pack a day) when I didn't want to... Something's wrong if it's that addictive... But I'll tell you this, If i'm around someone smoking for a whole day the next morning or even that night my throat dries up horrbly and my chest starts to hurt... Shit, is bad for you man.... It's poison.. Nothing good comes out of smoking ciggarettes, nothing...

If you want to fuck your own body up with fags then do it but that shouldnt mean everyone else has to suffer its not a total ban its a ban in public places, if no1 else is around you can smoke, if there are other people around then you can't smoke i don't think thats unreasonable ! i've seen plenty of people in my family die because of smoking so the less people that have to suffer from it the better imo !

why should non smokers be made to not go out to bars or woteva when they are doing nothing wrong ! ?

yea fair play, but they can erercise free choice, and if they feel there is nowhere to go, why dont the non-smokers set up non-smoking bars, simple, because people go to the pub to drink and smoke, imagine trying to tell a country local, that he is no longer allowed to smoke in the local pub?

also, smokers are doning nothing wrong either, unless that is you feel tobacco should be made a controlled substance.....

what about the NHS, a fucking huge proportion of it is funded by duty on fags, far more than is spent treating people with smoking related disease, and that is a fact.

It cost about 20p (37c) to produce a packet of cigarettes, and they sell them for £5.50 ($10). Do the sums...

btw, im sorry to hear about your family, that sucks, and i can see why you are anti smoking...

the goverenment choose to heavily tax fags thats their choice thats the way they have always been with them, if no1 smoked there would be no smoking related illnesses and no need for money to be spent on it which would free up even more money !

smokers are doing nothing wrong by smoking themselves when it affects other people then they are doign something wrong should i have to suffer because you choose to smoke no i shouldn't i should be made to move either your the one with the harmful smoke so its up to you to go somewhere out of the way ! im not picking on you by the way just giving an example !

no i understand...i think this is a case of a fundamenetal difference in opinion, i get this all the time with my house mate, hes a humanist, and we often get to this point...lol

i do fully understand your point, i think it pisses me off more atm because of all the other crap the governemnet is trying to shove down our necks all at once,

and because i am a smoker...lol

but even if i wasnt, i would still know what it is like to be a smoker, and still wouldnt agree with this bill....
