typical day

Im sitting here at work waiting for some code to be put in production. For a seminar I have to write out a typical day im my life. This is what I actually wrote and turned in

7:45am
wake up

8:30am
arrive at work , sign on illmuzik

8:45am
am listen to everyone’s sound click page while writing code

10:30am
Project planning meeting, still signed on illmuzik(wireless)

12:30pm
lunch, sign off illmuzik

1:30pm
work on oracle 9i & people soft implementation, listen to everyone’s music again while codeing(I think I almost heard everyone’s page)

5:00pm
get off work go to the gym

6:30pm
(mon, wed, Friday,) class till 10pm ,sign on illmuzik wirelessly while boarding ass professor talks about indexing algorithms

10:00pm
get home ,sign on to illmuzik read and answer some threads

11pm to 3:30 am
Make beats if im not too damn tired

Sat and Sunday
Smash hoes like a demon!!! (I actually put this down)

shit depressing aint it,expect for the smash hoes part.

When I'm at work, I can't listen to anything on soundclick, our network has it blocked, but last night at home, I actually got to listen to some stuff in the showcase, I hit your page too classic because you said you had a friend who uses FL that you run circles around and I've been waitin on the perfect moment to hate on you. LOL naw just kidding, your stuff is definately good for just starting making beats not long ago, but don't get too gased, you was already a musician so this stuff should be second nature for you anyway, cause there is no way a black man can play some bach, and be no good at producing when he learns his tools nah mean. But good work class, I can listen to your work unpainfully and that goes along way in this day and age. Later cuz

7:00: Wake up...
8:00 - 8:30: Get to work, check e-mail and sign on Illmuzik...
9:00: See how much work has piled up and decided, if I'm actually gonna do it...
9:00-12:00: Surf the internet, mostly Illmuzik, listen to music, chop samples, maybe do some work...
12:00: Go to Lunch
1:00-5:00: (See 9-12)
5:00-12:00: Go home and make beats or listen to records or watch movies (basically compile samples), read or hook up with the ladies...

Repeat every day (except Sat. & Sun., girls and beats get more time those days)

weekdays

12 pm - wake up, breakfast & check emails, illmuzik and other hiphop sites.
12:45pm - Make beats
3:15pm - lunch
4:00 pm - go to girlfriends house and have dinner
8:30pm - come home
9:00 - another dinner
10:00pm - surf illmuzik etc again
11:00pm - make beats
1:00am - another dinner and watch Letterman
2:00am - make beats
3:00am - go to bed

my routine is bad i know. alot of it is spent fucking around.

soon ill be studying or working though.

3pm - get out of bed and watch diagnosis murder smoke fat doob and drink a cup of tea....
4pm - smoke a spliff watch some TV, chill wit mates
5pm - frisby on the park, and another spliff
6pm - LUNCH...housemates come home from work, Joints all round...!
7pm - first beer
8pm - more weed, and going out
9pm - 11/12pm TV, beer, weed and if im flush some coke...
12pm - 5pm Make beats
5pm NIGHT MIGHT REEFER, then bed....

but im happy....

2pm - wake up, eat breakfast, put some music on, start up my PC
2.30pm - go on the net look at emails, look on illmuzik and other site i go on
3pm - start looking for samples and chop them up
3.30pm - lunch
4pm - go out and sort out wot ever i gotta do that day
6pm - start making some beats
8pm - dinner then back to the beats checking sites and speaking to people
9pm - go out with my m8s
12am - come back have some food, make some more beats and check the sites etc
1am - watch TV
2am - go to bed

Yea i pretty much waste a lo of time at the mo lol but im doing a music technology and recoding techniques course at the mo in my spare time and once ive finished that i plan to start a degree course !
I did used to work fulltime but im currently looking for a new job and look to have found one now...........ahhh there goes those 2pm starts lol !

MY TYPICAL DAY ( all eastern time)
**WEEKDAY
7 am wake up, shower, dress, breakfast etc- carch train @ 8:30

9:45 arive @ work
10:15-11:10 first lunch period ( supervise 1st grade class)
11:15-12:10 2nd lunch period (supervise 3rd grade class)
12:15-1:10pm 3rd lunch period (supervise 6 grade class)
1:15- 2pm report to main office- make copies, amswer fones, help visitors, help wit bad kids etc..
2pm- clock out and go home
(Only work 4 hours. Supposed to be going back to school........oneday)
Long train ride back to brooklyn from harlem.

The rest of the day watch tv, listen to music,make and practice dj routines, make a beat or 2,hang out ,

***WEDNESDAYS - Do a gig (DJING) from 6-10
(After work party)

**WEEKENDS**
Wake up @ like 10 am (can't wake up late for nothin.lol)
Eat breakfast(usualy grits and eggs or pancakes)
Clean up my room (maybe. Lol) mess around on my computer , go over old beats and songs and record @ home with my rap group.

SATURDAY NITE-
DJ @ a club,bar or lounge (no weekend residencie right now)
go to a club, bar or lounge (usauly one of my many dj buddies djing)
Smash a chick @ home or the chick house (no steady girl right now tho)

**SUNDAY
SLEEP , laundry, ironing, get ready for the next week and do it all again

Not real exciting but that's the life of a working class dj with a day job (to pay the bills).lol

12:00am mess with some beats

6:00 am sleep and do again.

Days off nothin but beats (fuck cleanin and fuck friends, well some times gotta go out so I don't go crazy)

When I start back to school next semester things a change guess i'll have to quit work, or never sleep

12:00 asked to go to the bathroom but actuly go to the library and sign on to illmuzik
12:30 come back and get written up and sent to the principle office.
1:30 go to history class and go to sleep and have a dream that i am recieving an oscar for the best beat in the world.
2:00 ask to go back to the bathroom again but acutuly go to the library and sign back on to illmuzik.
2:45 come back to class and get writen up again.
3:15 get out of school and got to band practice and then go to drill practice.
6:00 get home and get on the internet sign back on to illmuzik
8:00 get off and watch tv and do some of homework
9:00 iron out clothes
10:00 watch david chepell show and go to sleep

and do it over again 5 days a week but the skipin class is radom

and half the time i am suspended or in in school suspension cuz of illmuzik i think yall are a bad influence on me. lol
