tweaking sounds

im working with the motif es and triton keyboard and i have a mpc2000xl i was wondering what are some great computer programs and plugins to have to munipulate and tweak my sounds strings, drums, bass, etc

izotop
samplers (Acid..intakt..kontakt etc) every sampler has tweakin features
Just about any multirack recording app

every major sequencer has some build in effects.just use your main DAW.
