Turntables (To Keep?)

I happened to get a free turntable today it's a Technics SL-BD22 which I don't know much about. I searched it up but I could only find product detail (like telling me that its a turntable, made by technics, 33-45 RPM , etc) but no real reviews. Anyone know anything about it and is it worth keeping possibly for sampling purposes?

if you are hooking it up to the computer or like an mpc (like i do) i would reccomend a cheap dj mixer.. does the job nicely.
