traveling sampler

Yo I plan on getting an asr in a couple of months and my aunt has these records i want to sample but she won't let me take them to my house, and i don't want to lug my asr over their to, so is their like a small sampler i could use to take over her house so i can get the sounds i want then leave, also could you tell me the price.

Y don't you just record em with a cd recorder, tape recorder, portable minidisc recorder etc... You don't have to initialy record the sounds into a sampler. Im sure whatever kinda system the turntable is hooked to has to have some recording device hooked to it also. Imho it would be stupid to buy another sampler just for recording sounds to take and use directly in ur asr you feel me.....

sp-303 is a mad cheap small sampler, but i agree about a minidisc recorder or whatever, that way u can sample the whole track and keep choppin it whenever u want

yea ain't thought of that i will get that sony mini disk they pretty cheap at wal-mart and just use that.
