3. Dr. Dre...Do i really have to explain this man...Fuckin Awesome
2. RZA...The Wu Sound made me change my strategy...the dirty samples and the half measure drum beats

None of you listed Madlib (??!?!?!)

Probably the most innovative loop digger in my opinion.

In fact, i prefer Madvillain over Dangerdoom any day.

Madlib is tight but when I think of cats I was influenced by growing up he aint really one of em unless you include his Lootpack days.....

For me KMD/MF Doom was more of an influence in my early years over Madlib.

*Madlib seemed to kinda re-blow up after he went solo later on and started making a name for himself as an individual but theres a slight generational leap that occurs there as well cuz a lot of younger cats now all praise Madlib for his stuff more and more then back in the day during his Lootpack years.

1st time ive ever saw Mantronik on ANYBODY'S list... he's one of the peeps that influenced me on my myspace page,... i know most are too young to know about him...also, dont sleep on Kurtis Blow... he did "Fat Boys" and "Can You Feel IT" for them... it truly holds up to 2days standard... he had put melodies and hooks in music way b4 Dre did, even though Dre gets alot of credit for it.

my list aint long:

Blow
Marly
Mantronik
Preemo
RZA

by time RZA came out i was pretty much set in my style, but he was still hot!
