Nah dont get me wrong, I aint getting heated. I agree everyone is entitled to their opinions, like I said I aint here to convert anyone to anything, thats where religion went wrong. And I also understand the reasoning that if the first 15mins contains bullshit then it ruins the credibility of the rest of the film. I say anything that contains religion, contains bullshit on the basis that religion is in itself bullshit.
But ask yourself this, what was there before the universe, from what did this great expanse of space come.
What was the trigger for the big bang? Could it have possibly been from a thought process invoked by some conciousness. Then where did the conciousness come from? Hard questions for which there aint answers, just belief systems and faith to fill the holes. So until god sends an angel or an emmisary to speak to you and explain it all, you're as in the dark on that one as I am. I will not worship anything less than the creator of the universe. Not some person claiming to have spoken to him.

actually, in the new testament there is a gap where jesus goes from a child to about 30 (something like that) It is believed he spent most of that time in Egypt. There were a clan of Jews there "thereputes" i think. Something along those lines. In some of the unofficial Dead Sea Scrolls, it was mentioned Jesus studied with them and learned about different ways of healing and bonding with nature and such. I also think it is mentioned in the Gospel of Mary Magdeline.
