hmmmm?? wouldn't quite say that. lol. It just tied up all the loose ends. But I sure would have like to see it go out with a bang!

Funniest part of the finale to me: When Slim Charles pops Cheese and ole dude is like "What the fug you do dat for!? Now we gotta come up wit his nine." Hilarious.

Most should of seen it coming part of the show to me: Micheal assuming the role of Omar.

Part of the show that dissapointed me the most to see: Dukie going junkie.

But when you think about its the same in the past season finales. The show leading up to the finale is more action packed and the final episode clears everything up.


Season 3 is still the best to me.

anyway i loved the finale, the ending montages of the city were beautiful. i loved the pacing of the semi-final city montage (as if to say "yeah... it ain't over muthafuckas... SWITCH") and the final shots of regular folks.... life goes on. baltimore goes on.

Just because they didnt trun B-More into the wild west dosnt mean it was boring. It all ended how it was suppose to end to me, how it would have played out if it were a true story. It was a better finale then the Sopranos . The Wire still best show to hit the air waves.

thats what i meen by it could've been better. tho this season was about the "media" the writers could've made this season a lil longer instead of 5 measley episodes, the viewers deserved atleast an extra 3 to 5 thats all i'm saying. but looking at the show and how the "political" side played out remind me of the last election year here when O'mally (Mayor of Baltimore turn Governor of Maryland) which the character Carcetti was based on played out, and the schools and everything are fucked up even more. But thru out all of the seasons the creators where good on the facts.

Yeah, I love how that show is more like a movie than a tv series...Plus its written in such a way that it feels a lot more like reality rather then the typical crap that gets aired on non-premium channels...

I got caught up in TiVoing The Wire when I came home and turned on HBO. I got drawn in by this great, well-written, brilliantly acted, realistic drama-- it wasn't something I would just flip the channel on. I mean, it was good-- really good.

It was like an Oscar nominated movie that was split up into episodes.

So I was introduced to "The Wire." What a great drama. It shoulda went on.

the last 2 episodes was crazy. who wouldve thought omar would get bagged up by a kid
