I met this dude. He's a cutie, he's smart, he's caring, he's everything I'm looking for. He listens to me ramble on about music, and social issues. He actually listens to me. Now we have been friends w/ benifits for about 4 months now, you know taking it slow, but now I want more...or I want to keep it moving. The problem is he doesnt want to move to something more serious...so now I'm stuck...do I sit here and wait till he's ready ....or do I step?

A guy is looking for a healthy mate and girl is looking for stability...

But really, I think that it all depends on the guy/girl. Girls are usually attracted by a girl not for the body, but for what he can bring to the table. And since, as said above, it's hard to give your trust to someone, they wont step up to any man.

But all in all...

- if you find a guy that's interesting, has conversation, is educated, well dressed, but is butt ugly... chances are you wont even think about dating him.
- if you see a guy, all messsy and dirty, but who is real real fine, you'll wonder, even a bit, if he could be dating material.

You wont step to him cuz that's the guys job to do so. Girls wait for guys to make the 1st move, normally. Except if there is a peculiar situation (ex:...if you already know the guy).
