I feel what you are saying there and you make a very strong point. But did you check the end of my statement? Men are damaged too, by the some of the very issues you pointed out. I could have gone into depth with that but the topic was "the state of black women today".

I feel you man, that why I said that I'm not against what you're saying. But when you talk about the state of black women, it's gotta be in opposition with the state of black man, right?

The thing I'm mad about is that that so called "state of black women" (yes it exists, I know) gives them the right to spit on black man, saying they aint shit and putting them all in the same basket. You know how many times I've been called a dog? And I never, ever, IN MY LIFE cheated on a girl, and I never will... and I know a lot of cats like that too. And what do I hear when I say, I aint no dog?

First of all, Its easy for a guy to say that girls have an attitude when they dont even know how to act like a man themselves. We are all human being and one of the reasons that could explain a Female attitude is by the way she were raised in her environnement. All the hurt , the lack of confidence and maybe growing without understanding and love of her parents may explain why a woman is in fear, why a woman dosent give easily her trust etc. That has nothing to do with a black or white dude. Yes of course the state of black men has been shattered by the media, but who cares? You are what you are and if a Girl cant see the sweet person that you can be as a man, just go away!

Some people dont know how to respect a woman.. some never will. Im glad that i finally met some dear Guys that knows how to appreciate a woman. No it's not cheating... it's called moving on! When you cant stand the person you're with (whatever the reason is) it's normal that you look elsewhere. If the guy (or the girl, for that matter) is acting that way, it means his relationship is pretty much over...

Cheating is having a relationship with someone else than the person you're dating or sharing something that should be shared only with the one you're dating...

The same stuff you said about girls could be said for guys. The environment of a guy can be as messed up as the girls. A guy can also have a lack of trust in people. But that doesn't mean that he'll act like every girl is a bitch. Nothing could be a good reason to do so...

And why is the state of black women more important than the state of black man? Why wouldn't I care about my state? I'm not saying that everybody should know that I'm a nice guy, I'm just saying that it's not right to put every eggs in the same basket... that ridiculous!

When I'm talking about black women, I'm not talking about ALL black women, I'm reffering to the ones who lack the decency and have an attitude problem. Not the shy, but the shallow, not the ones with lack of confidence, but the ones with way too much... the Destiny's Child "Can you pay my bill", "I don't need no man", "men are dogs" type, not the "I wonder if he's alright"...

I would comment but the thread kind of gives me some insight....LOL ......you have to find the right one......myself I am a target of golddiggaz though but the thing is I have to comment on the cheating comments, I dont think its cheating to look at someone or to even think about someone else....That's human nature to see someone that you are attracted, those feelings are what brought you together with who you are with now, they dont just cut off when you get together with someone and fall in love, that's insecurity....LOL.....anyhow, I had good and bad black women (other women too) but to comment on that most of them I knew wanted run me and completely change what I was doing, not that was bad but sometimes they want you sort of be their robot and obey everything they say, sort of like your mother LOL, i run into so many that were hurt sooooo badly it greatly diminish my tolerance to be with them for long periods because they never get over those bad experiences and sometimes it may come out on you LOL.......I don't limit myself to one race of women either I look at them as a person, who cares what color they are....????? I myself don't because I am just limiting the chances and pool of available women and finding the right one....and ending up with the wrong one if I have some preset criteria....or feel forced to be dating within racial barriers, my grandmother is 1/2 white so I dont feel like I am boxed in to one type of woman.
