dope beat but the beat is the sample pretty much from the bass drums to the snare he just adds new ones down not much different then the orignal sample accept that bass as well..but dope sample regardless

no doubt the beat was dope.BUT the kick/snare sounded very basic and not original.all in all it was not really sooooooooo creative.but jayz liked it so its a wrap.

was that sample he used the original? or just taken from the actual song, because i would've liked to hear the whole thing in context. sweet video though.

i feel you the kit sounded really cheesy accept the high hat the hottest soundin part of the drum line is the drums from the actual sample

that guy needs some ice cream or something..he don't look too happy.

Am I the only one that found this footage funny? No offence to the guy, I respect the work he did and he achieved great things, but the way he held up that plaque at the end was just hilarious lol.

And sam you're right, he could do with some ice cream lol, I could see he was proud of his achievements (holdin up the plaque placed nearby) but somehow he still came across as miserable.

Ron "Amen-Ra" Lawrence. He was a member of the Hitmen (Diddys Production Team) He was responsible for alot of records sold in the 90s for Bad Boy.

"Where Im From" is probably something he made in 5-10 mins and turned it into a classic on a Platinum selling album. Talk about efficiency. Cant get any better than that.
