Like acouple of people was sayin'. If your gonna stop (or limit) your sampling cuz u think it'll make u a better producer...do it. But if your gonna stop sampling cuz u afraid u might get sued and your publishing is gonna get cut up, then u in hiphop for the wrong reasons. When u start thinkin' bout the money n' politics, you will ultimately conform to industry standards and be like every otha producer out there tryin' to save n' earn a penny.
But i say do both. I do sample-free shit too but i just feel my sampling music more. Thats where i feel at home, even when i listen otha people's music.
