The Grey effect on my session

When i open up a specific session the session has a grey shade covering all the channels and i cant click on anything or else it freezes WHY!!!!!!

its trying to relink the files. are the files on a different hard drive? r they deleted? r they named different now?

the session is on my D drive..its never been changed its been there and all of a sudden it wants to gimme that grey shade

I have like a whole LP worth from 3 years ago that does this, just move forward...Its gone, sometimes it relinks sometimes it dont..
Backup in the future.
So are the mysteries of digi and the PC...Hooaauummmmmmm...
