The FL Studio Problem

I never moved off of FL 10. It's installed on my DAW right now. I've always been at least two versions behind before upgrading but this time I just never left it. Never saw a reason to upgrade because it's workflow was right were I wanted it and the newer stuff added to it seemed like it would screw that up. So it appears that I'm not the only person still using an old version of FL, but for a different reason: Cats are saying that newer versions just don't hit like the old joints used to. What say y'all? Anyone still on an old version?

I love FL10 myself but I love FL25 even more. Like in the video I think everyone confused on the sound quality because the limiter that is in the master as a default in certain versions of FLstudio. Ive been using FLstudio since 2.5 and the best ones are 3, 10, 12, 20 & 25 in my opinion

I know that FL is a great product. Personally, I don't like the split between pattern mode and the song mode (playlist).

what issues you have with the audio files?
Where it stores them and its awkward to microchop and time stretch exactly how I want it. You can change some settings to make micro editing better, but the default folder for storing recorded audio is the system drive. Can also be changed but if you forget you end up with a system drive full of recordings.

If you use fruity slicer or edison to microchop I can understand that. Thats why I microchop using serato sample or I use the playlist so when I save my project it goes directly to my harddrive instead of the FL default folders. If I go the other way I just open the default folders and take those files out and put it in my harddrive so I can have more space on my computer.
