Well, for me it had to be the Fresh Fest concert of 87. Even tho that's the only concert I went to it had everybody who was hot at the time(except Run D.M.C). You had Stetsasonic, Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince( before Will Smith), Public Enemy, Eric B. and Rakim, Whodini, and LL Cool J. This was the start of hip hop music really blowin up.

umm.. this is a nice topic, but i some people may have not attended a concert yet.
But me! I attended the Chingy n ludacris concert. it had the DTP gang there with David Banner as a special guest.
I didn't even know he was gonna be there..?? they should have put that sh1t on the ticket or somin'.. let people know whats up, b4 it goes down. probably could have gotten my people to come if they did.
o well... thats just me, I'm about my money mayne... I would advertise ya mutha....

But chyeah! I enjoyed the concert. It was my 1st concert i ever attended.
And i got to see what these artists do, go though. Fans screaming their lungs out and wanting to just touch them in sh1t. sh1tz crazy!

But ohhh wheeeww.. the most of the ladies there dressed to impress. yes sir

going to that concert was a great treat for me, i finally got to see these people live instead of through a tv screen

the dopest concert i saw was floetry, gangstarr, kweli, and common. common by far was the best out of the bunch though. in a close second i saw supernatural, j5, and dilated too. also a dope show.

OK, I'm gonna say my top 3, just because I've been to so many, and these 3 were all incredible

Up In Smoke Tour '01 - Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Cube, Warren G and the DPG

Hard Knock Life Tour '98 - Jay-Z, DMX, Method Man, Redman, Memphis Bleek, Beanie Sigel, and pretty much everyone from the Roc at the time

No Way Out Tour '97 - Puff Daddy, Mase, Lil' Kim, Faith Evans, Busta Rhymes, Dru Hill, Lil Cease, Junior MAFIA, Usher

These 3 concerts were all incredible. Huge venues, great overall productions. Long sets, great intros....Just amazing

The best concert I ever saw was rage against the machine, but oh yeah this is a hip hop site. Well the wu was good del was allright and this weekend im gonna see madlib jaydee mf doom so well see how that is.

The most impressive was Company Flow, they Flowed on for hours (almost 3 hours)
it was the bomb!!!!!
Also Spearhead is one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

All those shows sound tighT. SummerJam back in the day with Big Pun, Busta, Timbaland right when he had dropped, Missy and so on was pretty good. Roots put on a damn good show as well. But as far as music you can FEEL, WU brought the energy at the Boathouse a year or so ago. Matta fact, i think they were just back in Va beach last weekend for Method Man and Redman's show>>>>

Aight my freshman year 95' NC A&T SU homecoming Redman & Meth headlined with How High... off da hook, The Wu was there, Erick Sermon did his thang, and ONYX....imagine a blunt filled alcohol induced arena when ONYX comes out screamin one gun, two gun,..... its time to get live LIVE!!!! dat shyt was pure energy... And then I cant forget that spring at aggiefest we had Big and Junior Mafia and The Lost Boyz. Dat was off the Hook too.

i aint been to that many concerts but i went to see The Roots. There wasnt one person in there who wasnt smoking weed. I loved it. But i was standin by the door, paranoid, the whole time. Ready to go runnin if the cops busted in.
