get it on the floor is so far from gangster it's not even funny....That has to be the worst song on that album...It's an average beat and it happens to be one of the best beats this guy has made in a while....But it's not hot

the thing about swizz is he kind of really started the keyboard beat thing or after him the keyboard beats really took off or was notice more. Since it was really a new sound (up to that point it was mostly samples)you didnt have to do much to make a hot beat(thanks to Korg) but now a days producers do so much than they was doing then that you really notice that swizz wasnt really doing much if you listen to some old double R stuff but at the time his shit just was so different. I think cats was still using samples real hard then and this new sound came out out of no where. I can remember the ruff ryders anthem...man that song was everything but now when i listen to it im like damn this shit was so simple and kind of corny. Swizz dont really use logic with his beats thats why he is getting past by. Todays music is really melodie counter melodie driven and if you listen to alot of swizz tracks the only thing he go going for his self is when he is in the back ground shouting"YO/Oh"

but yes, swizz is WACK, hes fucking horrible, hes had an average of 3 out of 25 beats being just 'OK' and there hasnt been a beat he's made thats made like DAMN

Swiss is alright with me, he had a nice amount of good beats on "Ghetto Stories", the thing about him is he's not a complete album producer. But he thinks he is , that were he fucks up.He;s a song or two producer, .
He also needs a certain type of voice on his stuff. I like his drums on alot of songs. He;s not the greatest but I respect the man.
I really find it hard to put somebody down when I realize how hard it is to make stuff happen in this music thing, and I'm glad a young black man doing his thing and gettin money, even though I don't feel some his beats.

Sometimes i go into the store and just grab a cd from somebody who i dont listen to a lot of and its almost always a good cd. Using this system, here are some cd's that turned out to be good just pickin up:

Pete Rock & C L Smooth - Mecca and..
Fabolous - Street Dreams
etc.
But i got Swizz's CD, and i thought you can always learn something from or get something out of a cd. Swizz'as CD was painful to listen to.

Swizz Beatz got his name off of his DMX work,,, and a lot of people never got into that to begin with. Anything non-DMX that he has done has really been bad.
