Edit: if youre inclined to answer with the first option, then consider if he should have gotten arrested in the first place. The charges turned out to be disturbing a public assembly and resisting arrest, dude even went to county jail for it.

yeah, i noticed that too. No, this was a unjustified assault on the Freedom of Speech. It's a LAW in our country. What makes it worse was that Kerry wanted to let him continue, but he was arrested and detained,,,then Tazed. This is where our country and worl id heading, but like 2 said, nobody cares unless they're directly affected by it. Wait till our dollar is reduced to equalling 4 cents. The main talk on the news now is the falling dollar, and the failing banks, which itself breeds fear which means people go to get there money out of the banks while they can, banks default as the system allows them to lend more money than they have, its called fractional reserve banking. Banks call in loans to pay out on deposited money. People default on loans and interest rates go up to cover the losses, the end truly is nigh.
Id hoped enough people would see the problems and try to make things right before it got this far, but it seems now its too late. Its about time we all braced ourselves(worldwide) things are going to get tough very soon, and its past the point of being able to do anything about it.

The way i see it the police started grabbing him for something he said, which was unjustified, so by your own argument the guy was defending his own RIGHT to ask a question. And fighting back against an aggressor. He was the victim not the police. And he was unarmed. Cops are not our master who we must obey, there are enough corrupt police to know this isnt how it should be, cops enforce the law, and there was no law broken to be enforced, the usual one is that he was arrested for resisting arrest, which he wouldnt have resisted had they had an original reason for arrest.

And fighting back against an aggressor. He was the victim not the police. And he was unarmed. Although I think there is an absolute infringement on the freedom of speech going on here, i also feel fade a little. The guy could have just left the room, they were trying to escort him out and he ran off and struggled and WAS in fact disturbing the assembly a bit. So yeah its not that unjustified to escort him out just for that, yall cant deny he was being a bit annoying. OTOH, he was severly outnumbered by the cops. They could have easily just dragged his ass out of there. Maybe they felt taserign him was the only way they could control the situation though, i dunno. Not that id agree with that or think thats cool , but yeah i definitely feel fade sayin the dude could have just complied.

But yeah, even though people get tasered all the time, im sure its because theyre maybe drunk, doped up, or really aggressive...maybe tryin to run off i dunno. At least I hope so! Cant really deny the blatant denial of freedom of speech going on in the vid though.

I agree people are getting tased all the time, on Cops you have the psychology implanted that everybody is guilty of something, thats why the cops are after them, so even tho the person hasnt been found guilty of a crime in a court as the law states we all assume they are guilty, this is wrong. Just because its used all the time doesnt make it right either. People have died as a result of being tased, its a potentially lethal weapon. Its a torture device.

3 reasons its making headlines is
1 He was arrested for no crime
2 It was caught on tape
3 The taser was unjustified.

Why should we be subservient citizens to the police when there actions are unjust and wrong and against the same law they serve and protect. And saying okay and going "Along for the Ride" will get you a criminal record, For what? Too many people say okay and go along for the ride, and there are many others that say no, I dont have to be subservient to wrong police. Just a shame people in the crowd didnt help the brave guy out, it takes a brave guy to even get up and ask the questions in the first place.
Its rebels like him that created the constitution and made the whole freedom idea behind america a reality. Even if it was never actually real, it was more real 10 years ago than it is now.

This guy IMO didn't deserve to be tased, but he did deserve to be kicked out. I read a couple articles and he wasn't just going up for his turn to ask a question. He had made a scene before that, and actually cut in front of everyone to get his questoins answered. Notice the crowd cheering when they drag him off....the tazing was a little extreme because he wasn't actually a threat, but the guy should have just waited his turn to speak and was a little more respectful about the way he did things.
