Stealing Beats???

alright i notice alot of ppl puttin lil things over their beats to prevent ppl from takin them and usin, but to me im havin fun makin my beats, if someone wants to go thru all the trouble just to take it illegally then all i say is good luck (and my beats aint exactly wack). i hope you make 10,000,000 off of it so i can sue yo ass, and get some publicity, but ona smaller note lets say he only uses my beat around his/her area and ppl feel it then I look at that as sub-soncious publicity for me, so when i make it big (and i am by the way) ill have a wider audience thats feelin my style rite off the back. how do yall feel about it???

First of all, learn to use the search button placed second to the right at the top menu. We already have threads like this.

Second of all. Heard your 'Taliban' beat. It was good for a laugh. Heard your 'Da Hotness' beat. Drums were plain boring and the sounds sounded like some bad theme from an old commodore game. If you want to be dissing other people's beats you better have the bomb and trust me, you don't. It's okay to be confident with your beats but your straight boasting is tiredsome, even if your beats were the bomb.

Some people have stuff over their beats because they wouldn't like to see someone steal it. Others don't mind because they see it as publicity either way or they will just go after the thief. Depends on personal preference.

COpenhagen I would say take it easy but fuck it his shit was far from hot and far from mediocore he even went as far to having someone he knows join or joined under another name to say he has the best beats in the showcase and then he says he made a guitar beat that's hot of the beat this comp...and for him to down other peoples shit is just plain dumb when he has nothing to prove he can pound out a banga

also resample to a low bitrate, stream it as real audio, and just dirty it up...that way if someone ends up getting it it'll sound shitty enough that it wouldn't sound good recorded on....i used to just get emcees to spit somthin on em for showcase, that works too

I just have one question J malice..How are you making money off of making beats when in another thread you said you just got into it and you're trying to produce yourself?and in another thread the illmuzik cd project to be exact that when you make a beat you just make a beat you do it for the love???That just doesn't add up....Don't try to make yourself out to be hot because if you're selling shit like you had in the showcase then the majority of us on illmuzik need to hook up with the people you're making money off of ..we'd be fucking rich by now
