We just moved to a new studio space and the control room is a standard rectangular room. I'm looking for input on the speaker placement. A new producer who's been hanging around the new location says for sure that the speakers shouldn't be placed along parallel walls, the traditional equilateral triangle thing, but instead says they should be placed sort of in the corner, so that their angle of projection is along two non parallel surfaces. But everything else I come across online tends to disagree with this.
