sound card questions

yo i am gettin the m-audio 24/96 sound card do i need a mixer to sample into the comp or can i just hook the turn table directly into the sound card

i would say go with a mixer... What kind of turntable are you using?

I would always go with a DJ mixer just to be safe - with an RCA out to 1/8" in cable.

Yeah, i know what u mean... You could just use that, X... There should be a tuner or something that u can run the turntable from, to the sound card... Thats actually good man, then u can sample tapes n shit too...
