basically I dont keep up with Soljah boy, I think that his songs using the same beats and being for the kids is novel and to me never taken seriously or just joints to get you on the floor at the club , ya feel me, I really never gave much thought to him representing hip hop to a great extent so I gotta do some diggin I mean, the only person I see out there deserving of this level of a dis would be the greatest rapper alive in his own mind, who sold a million and pop mo shit than a lil...anyhow I sort of cant see ice t doing this other than for his mixtape stunt I guess , because you think about it, even going back to Ice T time or b4 there has been wacker records out and many groups pawning themselves off as hip hop, but Soljah boy was caught in between being serious at the same time being comical, I really dont know if I was 17 and some dude I dont care who it was came at me from that angle and 30 or 40 years older it would be a tuff call, because in your mind and what you did and sold and did shows you made it for your peers and I know in the club there was a lot of old heads dancing to them soljah boy joints, so it was kind of big for him to at least still show respect to Ice T but still defend himself, not as a rapper but as a man that didnt say anything to him for all I can see, maybe something went down we dont know about ? but like i said this dis from ice t should have been to someone reallly putting themselves out there as the epitome of hip hop right now... I think if this was serious it is unfortunate for Ice T to aim at this kid so hard..even though I agree it is total garbage but is usable for a club and organized dance as wack as it might be it serve the purpose to get the club hype and have some fun if you are a DJ.
