Sonar, VST and a controller

Is there a way to MIDI control parameters in VTS effects? I have no problem with the synths just those effects i looked in help, the 900 page manual and nothing.

It is best to use the dx plugins instead

what version of sonar? Sonar 6 handles vst plugins "properly"

just different actually. VST is much more popular. The old versions of sonar handled DX plugins much better, but sonar 6 handles both about the same. You should be able to control your plugin via midi. It had been awhile since I have done that in sonar, I think you need to assign your midi controller to the value you want to automate.
