Yeah to be honest the compressor is the best part of the collection.

Yes I have tried them. They are OK. But I dont think the "SSL SOUND" is to die for. It is just one more way to shape tone thats it.

No joke, i think it's really the bomb, the settings of the full ssl channel plug-in are really useful, you got to try the kickdrum setting on one of your kick, you change the eq parameters to fit your drum sound and it give a punchy fat sound. The dynamic part is really good, i never try a real ssl but this compresor is one of the best in Vst ( i like the old tc too).
What ' s your favorite Vst compresor for drums ?
