was able to get one for a steal ($750) in mint condition. But thats after a year of trolling through craigslist and ebay.

for sure, at one point the university in FW (IPFW I think) was putting them on the street so anyone could just take them and NO ONE did, they got thrown away. I moved there like two years to late or I would have got like 5 of them.
