QUESTION: what is everybody using on their mixbus? just curious and I think I could lead to some insight... I use an old version ozone and a little excitement from a waveshaper

@stcbeats - with the right mix to add some space this is a great track... sounds like a single for a song about a personal revilation like "swimming pools" for kendrick... I really like how moody it is because it creates the drama needed for a good story... finish that joint : )

@jafar4000 - I like the bounce on this... and how it is untraditional... the arrangement could be had clearer so an artist can easily tell where the hook goes (I listened to the tape and that is my general advice too) but overall it has a vibe that a creative emcee could rock out on like a Lupe

@Lxrd Suma - this one has a horror element to it but could use some refining of the drums mix and possibly add more instruments to fill out the melodic parts

Ya'll have been super helpful with the feedback I've recieved here. Matter of fact, I input this overall advice into my latest release, of which this is the opening track.

It's a short six minute tape, I'd really love your thoughts:

very cool, i like the ambient noise vibe you've got goin, kind of makes me think of kaytranada or sango

@mattsak - love the space in the mix... sounds like a summer fun record... I'm feeling a Taylor gang song on this with ty on the hook lol... I like the synth you used too, not harsh like a lot of electric sounds I hear

@jafar4000 - the mix on this sounds pretty good.. all of delays going on may make it hard for an artist to find the right pocket but for instrumental music I understand... also love the dust from vinyl... keep at it

@mattsak very clean bro. nice sound selection! Love the reverb on the main melody. Awesome job man!

@jafar4000 Nice job bro. I think the melody is very nice but there is a lot going on and some elements seem to interrupt other elements. Makes it sound hectic, but that might be what you were going for! Great job

Wow This feels like I'm in the universe alone. And makes me feel rapping like Jadakiss or Pusha T. Good job!
