I like the samples together, but sounds like all just on repeat, and begin to not hold up well or introduce eachother well when each sample and audio file first begin and mix into eachother...I think a good simple riser, lil background lead in, and a crash or bass FX drop in would be great to divide this up into more of a beginning where the opening leads into the middle climax with more ease, and drops slowly down towards the end with a 'morphed' or slightly diff sound? Not that Im an expert, or that it was bad at all! I think it all fit, but just a bit seemed off, that all

I wanted to share this remix, I took the westworld theme, (LOVE THAT SERIES AND MUSIC! lol) and added drum, bass, subs, risers, claps, hits, snares, SFX, a few 'accents', few extra piano bits to give the existing parts more 'oomph', then mixed and mastered the final product. Actually ended up doin quite a bit on this piece. Glad i did, cause im my own worse critic, but i love listening to this beat version of this theme more than the original now! lmao OF COURSE ROYALTY FREE, I COULDNT SELL THIS IF WANTED TO! HBO WOULD HAVE MY ARSE! lmfao

NOT SUBMITTING THIS FOR REVIEW REALLY, or CONTESTS - A REVIEW ON THE BASIS OF A REMIX WOULD BE FINE, BUT I JUST WANTED TO SHARE INCASE ANYONE LIKES WESTWORLD THEME AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE A BEAT REMIX VERSION

Hey guys, been a while since I posted, but I recently moved house and bought a car not much time to do beats , but this weekend I released 5 new beats !

But first, let's go to the feedback for you guys :

@Matt-D The first one it's a bit sketchy of course as Drago said but I liked it overall, it may not be everything in key n stuff but there are some very dope sections in here , loved the 2nd and 3rd one . Although with this beat I would have developed from the init vocal. But good work bro keep it up. The 2nd beat I like the overall result but there is one little drum that keeps messing the vibe for me.. I think it's a Tom or something like that, but I like these chill beats.

@Drago Zetić started good with those vocals and the beat it's quite simple but very good, maybe I would just low the volume of the vocal snippets on the middle of the beat, and that wobbly bass line not my favorite but I think it was a good choice to join with the melody . Keep it up !

@DEEZ BEATZ Damn man that is so fire, dope af, really heavy, loved the way that maked me bounce, very good work, keep up man! Please!

@C4NTK33P5T1LL I like the drums on this track but the melodies are very off for me, weird sounds and for me it's not working well with the rest of the track. But keep up bro, I struggle a lot also in search of melodies maybe I'm just picky.

@dBtheProducer man I loved this track, you got a very cool vibe I love, only thing maybe I would do is low the volume on the hats but still maybe it's just my opinion, keep up with these tracks man! Straight fire!

@Taron man I can't say much I feel you are on the right way but I feel your stuff very simple still, try playing with the drums more and even add more fx and such to your tracks, but keep up with the work man. Best track for me it's Ice.

@JvasGR if this is really your first beat it's very good man everything in place, not too much complicated but not that simple Liked the vibe. Keep it up.

Yes! I like it, very catchy, the intro, and lead into the climaxing highs (i dont even know all the lingo for musical creation etc, but hope you know what i mean by this lol) the melody after a bit began to sound a bit tedious though, and i was hoping for it to get more 'energetic' and mix more than it did around the minute or so mark before the ending from the high to the lead out, but then it did have another tiny riser section that slowed it down again for a sec, then led into the ending climax, and the vocal outro bit was a nice touch, but the melody combinations with the drums, bass, fx, etc I just for some reason hoped would morph into something, idk, 'more'? Louder, more emotional feeling closer to the end after the first lead into the main melody mix right before that same outro would have made it even greater imo, having a slight change up that gets heavier than expected, and squeezes more emotional 'drama' from the pieces mood as a whole.

I like this beat, i would say try to add small changes to the drums, kick etc.. every 8 bars or so just to keep the audience attention. i do like your sample choice, fit the tone of the beat nicely

Very catchy and memorable right off the jump And your use of risers and hits etc is great imo. The melody is friggin awesome, yet simple, and the fx and background mixes extremely well together - for just starting out i think you have a great ear for creating music my friend! The mix of samples with all of the aforementioned above sounds and the choice of bpm blended perfectly to give it the tone it has, basically the feeling I get when I see the choice of pic used for the track lol Very well produced imo. The solo part (or what i call a solo part halfway or so thru that just runs till either the end or another riser begins etc lol) at about the 1:00 mark is sick...like somethin i could just sit n listen to while deep thinking - that piano sound throughout it till the vocalized (are those vocals?) begin again is sick AF lol-only thing i would say critically, if were me, i would have ran that 'solo' part for a while longer before going back into that deep vocalized (vocals? Dont even know what to call it lol - like an oboe sound) parts...All in all tho, loved it

I hear ya! I put up a couple myself, one made from scratch, and a remix of a theme song day or so ago...But no critiques or reviews yet lol - I hear ya on that validation thing tho - I dont even sell my beats, just put em out for all to hear, and use if so desired, but having folks say its good is a great feeling If ever have time, peep the tracks i put up in this thread, dont even have to be a review, just say good or bad, or just so so etc lmao

@DEEZ BEATZ That's one quirky beat, sounds like you challenged yourself a lot with this one. The MC is pretty clever, but I think this joint deserves a remix with a more conventional beat simply to make it more accessible. What's his full stage name? The player cuts it off.

@dBtheProducer The bass note at 0:21 need to be tuned down a semitone. Don't really feel the sample choice, but you turned it into a good beat. The shakers are a bit too loud, but not all that bad.

@Drago Zetić , yeah i experiment with a lot of different sounds just to be different. i try to keep things simple with the beats i enter into the contests...the MC'S Name is FAKULTY...but when we first started this mixtape he just used his real name "Jacob Dezell"...believe it or not, this track was the most played track on the mixtape. But you are so right, it does need a remix for real though.

@RizzakBeats Your beat is pretty good, but the main thing I could suggest would be to add reverb to the snare and hi-hats. A harder snare sample would improve it too. Kind of unfortunate name, as the tag sounds like it's saying "RZA beats in your ear"...

I apologise to the members who posted SoundCloud links because SoundCloud is having a hissy fit on my end. It's definitely not the first time, but a couple of refreshes usually fix it.

Ok I have to say what I feel about this beats around here lately. Surely gonna get many hate after but as always I'm honest. There are some really bad beats around hear lately like 80% of them. I'm listening lot's of beats on beatstars and when I compare those from these that are here none of them are even close to that industry standard quality. What has happened to this forum? Always the same 5 people are posting beats. I heard some really bad ass beats months ago and after that there are none.
