Here is one I've been trying to get right. Let me know what y'all think.

Thanks bro ill tighten that up some.

"Brain Flood"- You put ya foot in that arrangement and the melody is dope, only thing id say is a beat that grimey i was waiting for a heavier low end. But thats just opinion. Sounds good either way

"Heavy Feathers" is another quality track. Those keys are insane! you play those?

Whats up IllMuzik Fam, been a while since I've posted so im feeling a lil rusty. Looking for some constructive feedback, will be returning the listens throughout the week

I like the stop you put in there. I did not like the build up that ended up where it started...I'd respectfully disagree on the bass tho, seems legit to me, but I usually tend to be bass heavy ta death...
and there seems to be some genre confusion with the vocal samples... nothing major, just looking for something to say...
peace

And another

this reminds me of some of my beats that never get to be mp3s.
not like they're bad but because they kinda feel cheap like winning with Blanka.
Is that what you have here? A track you like a lot but feel like it came too easy so now you can't stop tweaking it but don't want to overwork it? or I could be wrong. but imo feathers is ready.

just posted a new track
check it out

nice movement to the thing... I feel like I wanna hear it on better speakers so that's a good thing. I wanted to hear more of what came in finally toward the end, where your contribution to the piece outweighed your manipulation of the source material.
in the end the sound is what counts, and I think your sound is nearly there.
What future do you see for this track?

@odbarq cool NY track. Not really my style, or what im into but its solid nonetheless. Thought it could use maybe another element or some variation but good work. (aint no genre confusion i am my own genre lmao)

@KZA nice track, arrangement wise but I thought the sound selection coulda been better. Like i wasnt realing feeling the bell that comes in @ 40 secs or the synth that comes in @ 1:10. Your visuals on point tho

@King Drew Xlll Dope beat, kick could be a little punchier imo.
@NONONSENSEBEATS Love the dark vibe of Brainflood
@Cléurio Nice vocal sample. Has a chill vibe to it.

Has a nice low end to it.

Here's a little clip of something that I've been working on. Trying to finish the whole beat up, today.

@odbarq I dig the shit outta that first part. That change up threw me way off tho lol. Very surprising but, dope. I'd say maybe turn the come in tone down just a lil bit.
@KZA I like this its laid back and has an intense feel to it too. I made a beat awhile back that this beat really reminded me of. Makes me wanna find and touch it up lol.

imo, you have to have a vision for the track or else like anything in life, you plan to fail if you fail to plan.
I often sit down to make a this type of track and end up with a that type of track, and that's ok imo... but even when the plans change I have plans. a track may be more suited as a background piece good for commercials or presentations, it doesn't always have to be a beat waiting for a rapper or dj... giving some thought to what you want from your work will help shape your work. Peace
