Finding Time:
A pretty cool departure from your "typical" sound but still has a few of your hallmarks. I like the sound selection on this. The tight little fill is really nice. Good use of dynamic range and more "ephemeral" sounds: Verbs, wahs, serene spaced out vocals, bells. This is an interesting piece of music. I like the story going on here and the overall vibe. In terms of the album and sync placements, this has a lot of potential.

Got It In:
Picking up where the last beat left off with the vocals and dreamy bells. Of the two, I think this is a more conventional "beat" but still keeps that dreamy quality. Again, great sound selection. Arrangement/structure is good as usual. Could you share any pointers to how you get your arrangements to flow so seamlessly? I've been trying to explore writing across bar lines with lead ins and 'exits' but can't quite seem to get it down like you do. This is dope!

Sun Is Shining:
I love everything Bob Marley, so this captured my attention right away. The rhodes work and vocal chops at 0:41 are REALLY dope! I especially like the drums on this. They have a gritty and lofi quality to them. Simple, but they don't need to be any busier. Oooh, didn't catch the background vocals at 0:22 at first! I like how they lead into that low brassy/pad sound. Lots of depth, texture, and atmosphere on this track!

Summer In The Edit:
'Passin' Me By' is one of my all time favourite tunes, so it's hard to not be biased when I here another take on the sample. That being said, this is really well done. I like how you kept more of the jam-band vibe of the source material. Cool edit!

@M.I.ndless

This is interesting! I like the industrial sound this has. There's a very cinematic quality to this...the way you bring in elements and have it build the tension of the overall tune. Ooooh, I like how you up'd the groove after the Singing with the drums. Doing a groove shift like that is hard to pull over, but it matches the flow really well. Speaking of, you do a good job of having the beat match the vocals...like that synth and stomp/gun shot towards the back end of the tune. Not a style I'd actively seek out, but glad you shared, because now I'm intrigued!
Thanks @BiggChev for the feedback as always. This was an interesting one where I just kind of built it on the fly structure-wise to match the tone of the story It tells.

Drums on this are cool. I like how the kinda tribal acoustic sound matches the guitars. Speaking of which, all guitars are cool. Bass is fucking filthy! lol. I think a different synth would suit the piece better, but overall everything goes together nicely. It’s cool to see how to matched tones and timbres and then put them against synths.

I know, this is very similar to the edit made by Nightmares On Wax; after all, edits are all similar by definition. I wanted a version of 'Summer in the Night' that I could include in my sets, and the version by Nightmares On Wax cut out parts that I liked too much, so I made this version.

Can't go wrong with those classic sounds. I enjoyed listening to this. (y)

This nirvana mash up has me conflicted lol. I mean it fits, and both source pieces are dope…but I don’t know. As a mashup it works, but there’s a comical quality to it. Cool, but fucking weird bro lol.

@P.A.T.

If you’re just casually out here listening and flipping Bach….your sense of melody makes more sense lol. I quite like this. The drums/percs are simple but serve the beat well. The big change up is cool too! I imagine fleshing it out with some additional instrumentation and guitars could really make it into a big heavy banger. Cool!

@DJ Excellence

Was “Jockin my style” a shot at these guys getting into your remix corner of Ill? lol I really like this. The bounce of the beat works really well with Mack’s flow. Another one of those “if you didn’t know better, it would pass for the original.”

Craig Mack - Jockin' My Style (DJ Excellence remix)

Love loops and this loop is addictive. It's awesome when the organ repeats the phrase in half measure building tension. This track reminds me a bit of Oh No! in his most captivating tracks. With a beautiful Golden Age vibe, this sounds like a floor filler, a heavy rotation single. The organ (awesome work) and the keys hits create an irresistible release-suspension game that resolves masterfully with the raise-your-hands vocals. The chorus - brilliant how you built this section adding just the other (It seems ti me) organ. Everything sounds well-crafted, providing pure listening pleasure.
