I really like the intro. The piano and stutter on the vocals was a nice touch. I've said it before, but your more chill/reserved style is really dope. I've been studying your arrangements and details quite a bit too. I think what you do incredibly well is bake in a lot of subtle details without the beat becoming overwhelming. I reckon that's in part to your arrangements and how you let the track flow naturally from one section to the next.
This track in particular, I like that bouncy e-piano that kinda fades off and the high piano rolls tucked neatly in the back. Then seemingly out of nowhere, I hear a funky guitar piece...then horns. They all blend and fit well together and make sense as a whole. The beat doesn't feel like it's missing anything, but when those extra elements come in you're like "ah ha! this is exactly where it needs to be!"

Pagan Way: This is a nice cool piece. The opening guitar part is chill and sets a nice mood for the whole piece. What I like is that it fits both the more melodic flutes and the bluesy horns. Which makes sense once the Plant vocals come in. I like that you blended several different classic rock vocal chops on here. This has a dreamy quality which is really nice. The big wash with "Whole Lotta Love" vocal at 1:49 is SICK! The drums are nice too, simple, groovy, has a nice texture and serve the beat as a whole. This kinda reminds me of RJD2 in both it's leaning on traditional instruments, arrangement, and complexity. Weaving together multiple different samples is tricky, but you do it well here.
Sandman + Divorzio: Metallica is one of my all time favourite bands - so I came into this very skeptical. Honestly, this is not for me lol. While I appreciate some psychedelic rock, this had a gimmicky feel to it. The Sandman vocals fit but in a generic in-offensive way. I mean, it's well crafted, and definitely a creative mash-up that I would never think of. At the very least, it's a cool proof-of-concept. Appreciate you sharing and pushing the bounds of creativity though.

Going to fix it up, I bought Rip X Daw Pro, and its pretty fucking good at ripping stems, so going to give it a freshen up
This is my oldest surviving beat. Made sometime in 2006 (my last year of high school). When I made this I was trying to get away from the conventional hip-hop sound of the time. The guys in my beat-production crew, and I, were starting to get away from beats and exploring different genres and mediums. One guy got big into DJ-ing (house, soca, and reggae). Another guy was getting more into jazz, and I was still playing thrash guitar and listening to the likes of RJD2.
@2GooD Productions I made this entirely in Cubase SX3. Drums and e-pianos are stock Cubase sounds, and the Superwave P8 was used for most everything else.

Thanks man...It's also worth noting I was still playing in school band, marching band, and only a year removed from stopping formal piano lessons. I was much more involved in music back then and pulling ideas from all over the place.

Did it tonight, after I managed to find and download the kontakt factory library. Used it a lot on this one. It's amazing what can be achieved when you keep source files lol
