Melody is great. Your only issue is that your drums are repetitive over and over. Add some rhythm to them. In my head, I can already hear how it should sound. Work on your drum rhythms.
@crosstevsky let's be honest , i didn't like it , your beat is kinda Empty you know ? you need to add more stuff , and also the snare bothers me , maybe that's not my flavor of snares but i didn't like the snare anyways . the melody has some potential though .
@DEEZ BEATZ in the first place i was hating your beat because it was kinda EDMish , but then i found out its a EDM and i liked iti never listen to EDM though , i cant judge it but i can feel some good stuff is in this beat .

Putting the mix outside and only focusing on the melody and “drums”, it’s sounds great! The melody keeps me listening. I enjoyed your transitions throughout the beat. Keep up the good work! I’m still learning mixing everyday and trying to improve it, so I understand 100%. Watch constant videos on mixing. There’s different ways to mix. I suggest watching different ways to make your own way of mixing and sticking to it. Again, keep up the good work!

Let me tell the good stuff first , that sound on your beat on 00:30 was awesome , i only wish the last note it played was a lower note you know ? I liked your string melody till one of the notes repeated , i mean it played the same note twice on 00:02 . Also that pad that came on 01:40 was great too .
The thing that Sucked was the choice of the pentascale on 00:08 . I mean the song had an dark vibe , a great atmosphere for rapping , but you made it a happy song on 00:08-00:10 , on 00:56 that sound goes out of tune , make sure you change the note of that , the other thing that was extremely horrendous was the drums , i mean what the hell man ? But seriously @Alejandro , i liked your beat alot because it was Original and if it is one of your first beats it's Great , Everybody can make the drums of a song sound awesome , even if they cant they use a Loop or something , but you ( hopefully ) made that yourself. Also the vibe and string idea was great .

@C4NTK33P5T1LL I feel like I wish there was more going on with the drums, and I think the mix could be a bit better with the drums more forward. Digging the droney bass though.
@Alejandro I think the track needs some cymbals to help glue it together. Staccato strings are cool.

@Matt-D : I like the song and the beat. The mix on the vocals is on top too. I though the keyboard synth's could fit in the mix better, like more delay or reverb. Either way, nice song.
@DEEZ BEATZ : This is different but still dope. I like your versatility in beatmaking, this really sounds like a pop song that I would hear on a top 40 radio station. I like the buzz bass towards the end too. Good job
@dBtheProducer : Dope beat, I like the bass a lot. I thought the horn section could be brought up in the mix a little bit either by increasing its level or applying a frequency boost but overall I like the beat
@ArvinArmani : I thought the overall harmony behind the melody fit really well and the harmony and track had a nice structure. However, I thought the melody itself could benefit from a more varied rhythm and I think the synth might need to be tuned a little bit. It sounded like it was out of key with the rest of the track.
@Low G: I really like this beat, it definitely hearkens back to the boom bap style and 90s hip hopi n general. I thought the structure was dope too. The mix seemed a little washy though, maybe too much reverb?

@C4NTK33P5T1LL : I like the idea of using instruments and style more associated with rock for a hip hop beat but I think you could add some instrumentation earlier to the beat before the piano or introduce the drums later to make it more interesting starting out. Mix also sound like it may need work. A lot of good ideas though.

@Collapse : Wow dope beat bro! Very well mixed, drums are nice, piano is lit. Those vocals/high pitch sound really spice up the beat. This instrumental just has a really nice balance overall and gives off a chill cruising vibe with a bit of spookyness, i have no criticism whatsoever! Keep it up bud!

I wasn't a fan of the kick sound you used,, also i think the melody that comes in at around :53 is pretty random and i felt it didnt mesh well with the beat. The switch up at 1:15 was cool, but then it felt like too much was going on, was overwhelming at this point. Ending seemed a bit rushed. You have the idea down, just keep working and focus on your arrangement and finding the right instruments/sounds that work well together, afterall you're creating a song and you want it to flow nicely and be easy to listen to.

Wow. This beat is amazing RJ! The way the vocals sound, drums, etc. overall all fit together perfectly. Dark sounding beats are my style, and this fits perfect with what I like creating.
May I ask what low sound you are using? Is it an electric guitar?

I enjoy your beat. Usually putting many sounds into a beat causes too much collisions, but you figured it out to not let them crash, but fit them in perfectly! Any rapper can rap fast and slow on this beat. Since idk how to write lyrics well, I pretend to rap to beats to see how it would sound to an actual rapper, and with your beat, any rapper can get creative. Great job!
