Lil' PAT got some skills! Dare I say, she's running laps with Big PAT??? lol This is good. Not sure how old she is, or how much guidance you gave her, but she's got a good sense of melody and rhythm. This is the type of "simple" that's done well enough to sound "complex." I think you should keep her involved in the art and keep posting her music. Tell Lil' PAT I'm an instant fan!

Firstly, mad props for 1) committing to the album 2) going in hard on composing. This is a chill beat, that has some nice depth and texture. Personally, while I like your "hot and heavy" mixes/beats, you demonstrate some cool artistic skill going more reserved and deliberate with this "ethereal dream hop" lol. I'll be somewhat nitpicky just because your album deserves it...There's a muted/filtered e-piano of sorts that are doing straight eight chord stabs; sounds like a standard triad that persists for most of the track. It sounds like either the middle note or the top note doesn't jive "perfectly" with the vocals. To my ear it sounds like a diminished chord and the flat 5 is just slightly out of place with natural minor vocals and bells/mallets. Texturally, it's a cool element and the slight pan is a nice touch. Speaking of nice touches, the muffled, but boomy and verbed out kicks, percussion are really cool. I like that the snare isn't your usually "hot" and sizzling on this track.

"Je crois d'une Quebec Libre!" - This is dope man. When I eventually make my to MTL, we'll 1) free
@Armani from
@Fade 's basement and then you'll teach me how to make remixes. What I'm more interested in, is your approach to mix and "tone." I know I've asked before and you've briefly mentioned how you approach remixes, but there's something sooo clean and seamless about yours, that makes me feel like there's some magic sauce we're all missing.
@Fade - can we just go ahead and give
@attila "Rookie of The Year" now? My man, you bounce between genres, feels, and vibes soo deftly. The mix is great. I don't have much more to say other than - "This reminds me of a block party in Brooklyn" I was at a few years back. Dope beat, dope sounds, and a great groove!
@DR3X
This is really cool. For the record, I really don't care for trap...so the fake out isn't as appreciated by me as it was by the others lol. That being said; The intro is dope, and the two distinct "trap" themes you have going on are executed really well. The second theme I can almost envision a Stormzy or Dave track on. The transitions were also executed well. Doing a style/genre flip like that can be tricky and often times, jarring...not the case here. I do find the low end a bit muddy though. Otherwise, interesting, creative, and cool (even if not my flavour).
