Hi again everyone got something else for you guys to have a listen to. Still a work in progress let me know what you think
@DEEZ BEATZ “Jacked Kilos”: I liked the bass sound, snare rolls, and the lead synth too. Everything was also mixed well so it all fit well together. Great job
“Slip, trip, and drip”: I like the mix and the sounds in the beat. I barely know what the singer is saying but his melody sounds good lol
@Matt-D : That remix is dope. I don’t have experience in creating remixes to give critical feedback, but I liked it regardless.
@NakedStar : “Menace”: I like snare pattern and snare rolls, the timbre of the synth brass is pretty dope too. Good job.
“Ultimatum”: Brass in this one is pretty dope too, kind of has an EDM vibe to it, which pretty unique. I like it
“On slaught”: I like the song structure of this beat and also the different timbres of the bells, and the choir in the background,it feels out the frequency spectrum pretty well. Good job
@KuKo : Saw: I think this one needs a better melody and harmony section but i liked the intro
Burn: I like this beat, the kick has a nice knock to it and I like the timbre of the keys. It’s mixed pretty well
Life is Good: I like it those string synths, it gives it a late 2000s feel which I find kind of cool since you combine it with more current sounds too, like the hi hat pattern.
Here is my beat for this week:

Thanks a lot for the feedback man, I really appreciate it!@Baasta Beats I like all three of your beats especially the fact they'e so different. Only one thing is on honey I don't like the open clap but that's just personal preference. All in all good work bro keep it up
Super dope beats! I like them, especially MenaceHow's it going fellow illiens! Would appreciate some feedback on thee beats I've done. The second one is a UK grime instrumental. Loving the vibe on that video @Matt-D sounding sick! Good luck with permission! Happy new year everyone
@Matt-D This remix is fire. That is so smooth and it goes good. I like this a lot. Keep up the good work and I enjoy watching your videos man..
@NakedStar That onslaught drums.....Oooo Weee that bangs
@DEEZ BEATZ Both of them are dope, but the first one really brings it out. I love it.
@Feel I like the Jazz/Blues feel in this track. The drums are sauce..
@Baasta Beats Those claps on that Honey track is banging. Kinda has that west coast vibe...Me likes
@Chad Damn man...that bass is fatty in a good way. And the drums that goes with it made it 10x better....dope track
I decided to resurrected this track for my upcoming project I'm working on:
I like it. Crystal clear production... That crow sample really makes it. =)Hi again everyone got something else for you guys to have a listen to. Still a work in progress let me know what you think

I dig “Honey” and “Infinity...” Super-chill. “Falling” is not really my thing... Although, I will say I could easily hear the late Chester Bennington or a ‘Staind-type’ vocalist coming in any second. =)I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. I would really appreciate some feedback on a few of my beats. Thank you guys in advanceHAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE
Diggin’ it... Reminds me of an ‘Arrested Development,’ ‘Dilated Peoples,’ or even a ‘Jurassic 5’ beat.Happy new Years everyone
@Matt-D that was dope man keep it up.
@DEEZ BEATZ Jacked kilos is a banger
@NakedStar Im not really into this style but I give a thumbs up to what I like
@KuKo The song burn has a long drum pause at around 1:35 shorten it a couple of bars. Welcome to illmuzik
I really like “Burn” and “Life Is Good...” I liked the effect/technique (I haven’t been producing very long) you used that makes the kick sound like it’s whirling around my head, in “Burn.” And, the vocal sample to drop in “Life Is Good.” =)@DEEZ BEATZ Jakced Kilos sick beat, love it man, especially love the hard bass line, keep up the good work! Check out 3 of my last beats and give a feedback if you want!
I like them, both. Really love those synth notes over that distorted bass line on “Jacked Kilos...” I don’t feel I’ve been at this long enough to give, or even be able to give production advice. They both sound great, to me. =)SOMETHING TO START OFF THE NEW YEAR, IT WAS 3AM WHEN I HAD THIS LITTLE ITCH TO SCRATCH. THEN I HAD ANOTHER IDEA AND SINCE I HAD RAPPERS & DJ'S AT MY HOUSE, I GRABBED SOMEBODY AND LAID DOWN SOME TRACKS ... OPINIONS ALWAYS WELCOME

That’s awesome it filled up fast. Healthy, active community of members. =)
Since it’s already all ready, I thought I’d post what WAS going to be my entry here, for your critique. Hope all of you are having a happy new year, thus far. Advanced thanks for your time, ears, and energy.
Thank you... I just realized that I grabbed the wrong file when uploading to SC. =< There’s supposed to be a fade-out on it, ending it at 1:57 m, making it within comp. regs. and better produced. =(@NoWairMan I'm really feeling that! I like the fact it's different and it's a shame that wasn't entered i find it refreshing to bring new things to the table. Fair play

I do have a question I’ve been wondering about... It’s more of a marketing thing, but requires a beat posted as an example, so I’m hoping this is the place. With every structured instrumental I write, for Hip Hop/Trap, I include a structural breakdown of the track, in hopes of drawing a lyricist or MC to it, and make their selection process either. Good/bad idea..? Thoughts/comments..? Tell me it’s laughable, or pointless, if you think it, plz... I’m grown; I can take it... Thanks. =)
Here’s an example (notes under SC link):
Upbeat, structured instrumental for Hip Hop:
(Think “Ditty” by Paperboy or “Hey Ma” by Cam’Ron; that kinda feel to it)
Vocal-primed ~ 168 bars / 7:09 m | key: C#m
Intro. = 8 bars
A) -PrVrs. = 8 (a1)
——--Vrs. = 16
B) -PrHk. = 8 (b1)
———Hk. = 8 (b2)
A) -PrVrs. = 8
———Vrs. = 16
B) -PrHk. = 8
———Hk. = 8
C) Brdg. = 8
A) -PrVrs. = 8
——--Vrs. = 16
B) -PrHk. = 8
———Hk. = 8
B’) Hk’. = 16 [ 2(b2+a1)]
C) Brdg. = 8
Coda) = 8 (w/ fade-out)
@NakedStar Three decent beats, my favorite is on slaught, the atmosphere is right up my street, Id say this track seems more like a grime instrumental than the others, due to the tempo. But decent work all round. Are you from the UK and if so where abouts, Im in Edmonton, North London myself.
@Matt-D Nice video, really like the chord progression, and a dope track at the end, cant stand chris brown but the beat is dope.
@DEEZ BEATZ Really nice production and mixing on both tracks, that emcee on the second track sounds like one of our artists.. JC Money.
