@memento Ive only ever had one copyright strike in all my years, and that was an "Elenor Rigby" flip I did. You have really modernized this, good work. Has a great europop/house vibe .

@MR. MINESTATE Im really liking this, love the sample and the way you have flipped it. Dope beat.

@TjombaBeats love the atmosphere of this, it seems to be empty in the low end though, a nice dark pad bass will really suit this beat.
@2GooD Productions I appreciate that fam. Thank you for checking it out!

yeah they are weird.

I turned Cameo's Word Up into a UK garage track...

Surprised I havent had a strike, its literally the whole of the original sped up with composing over the top
that said, i havent tried putting it on yt yet

This couldn't be any further from my personal taste and yet I weirdly enjoyed it. Probably from a technical perspective as much as anything. Well worked and enjoyable listen. Nice work!

Here is my crime of the week:

Nothing here yet.

Argh! Get that snare sorted!! Keys and hi hats came in and I was really vibing. Nice bounce to it. Waiting for drums to hit and then that snare obliterated my ears! This has bags of potential to be a brilliant beat. All the other segments that come are in really nice but I would like to review it again after the snare has been changed or at least lowered in volume. I'd probably change it to something a little lighter. Maybe a soft snare with a clap layered on it. Regardless can see the potential of this beat. Really digging it bar the overpowering snare. Nice work!

Thank you for your review man. Much appreciated.
Ironically the beat starts with "Don't Worry I'm not gonna hurt you" but apparently my snare DID hurt your ears.
I apologize for that.

I think I need some distance from the beat myself before I start thinking about changing things.

I have no ideas of remixes so that is why I am a bit hesitant there to give feedback.

I would return to this sooner than later. It sounds great apart from the snare which sticks out.

Regards the remix. Its basically just my beat with the MED / Guilty acapella over it.

So I gave the snare another work over. I didn't change the sample itself as I wanted to keep the original vibe. Took out attack and sustain basically. This gives the beat more space to breathe. Thank you for your help.

Heres another remix I've done of MED & Guilty Simpson - Face Down.

I like the instruments you are using. Sometimes I feel that the vocals are not sitting right in the mix but I am not an expert tbh.
I think the beat is quite full and would benefit if you would drop out some elements to get more dynamic changes.
Had fun to listen to it. Keep up the good work.

@hosie I actually have not heard heard the original, but as far as this version, I love the drums and organs. The vibe is crazy!

Another great beat and a nice remix. Nailed the vibe.

Nice work. The only thing I'd add (which is probably a personal taste thing) is analog filtering to give the whole sound a bit of texture. It's just a little too smooth and clean...but I love it.

I will get some more feedback in before this closes, just waiting on some beat fuel to get started

@Kane the MOD V2. I like this, slightly choppy for my tastes but i think it works. Could really use a bassline IMO, or harder longer kick. Has a slight Dre vibe to it

@MR. MINESTATE Big Pun, a decent mix would really help this. The vocals are too far back in the mix and the mix could use quite a bit of work. I like where its going though, put together well.

@hosie this is dope, but Im not sure the beat matches the vocal. Love the sample, sounds similar to something I sampled a very long time ago.

@2GooD Productions I wish I had the stems for this. It is a pretty old remix I did. I may get another crack at it because my mixing skills have gotten better since then. Much appreciation for the feedback.
