Hey ya'll. Looking forward to hearing some more fire from everybody this week. Thanks in advance for all feedback, I'll give feedback in a few days as always.

Got 2 this week

"Intimate Friendz"

"No More Dancing"

Intimate Friendz. I love the sample. I had a a song in my playlist with the same sample and similar chops. Flawless execution.

No More Dancing. Nice drums and the melodies work well together. I have nothing to add really.

One question though @Rah.sool : you don't structure your beats like songs or do you?

Yoo Rah.Sool, you killed it with both of those. The sample chops felt smooth and the transactions worked really well. I think adding a simple vocal chop here and there could help but that's just preference. Nice job tho!

Looney Bin:

Very cool sample and nice flip. The switches you implemented keep this beat interesting.

Just one thing and this is probably down to personal taste. I dislike the kick. It feels to dominant and too "electro" in my opinion.

@Rah.sool
Intimate Friends- More upbeat. I love the way you use the filtering of the sample during the verse part. Nice warm bass.
Still analyzing No More Dancing. Will have feedback for that one as well.
Both beats are definitely are rhyme worthy.

@Kane the MOD Very nice job my guy. I really enjoyed both of these. Particularly the second beat. I really like the bass line sound/swing/melody on that. Good work all around on both!
regarding your question: Sometimes I do a standard verse hook structure, Other times I just arrange in a way that serves the music. I don't make these to be rapped over necessarily.
Thanks for the feedback boss

@guhanisonline Very nice job on Looney Bin. Sound selection is top notch. Also, the effects and processing are really clean, and well selected. Great mix also. Very interesting and refined. Great job! No criticisms

@MR. MINESTATE Wow. Great beat! I feel like you switched it up so many times that I never knew what to expect. Awesome job on everything. The only thing is that there is a high pitched buzzing noise in the background that is kind of hurting my ears. Everything else is flawless brother. I also really liked that dialogue that you added. Peace

First one is fire. I really have no complaints. Sample choice was top notch, drums are on point, sound stage comes off real nice and full sounding, and bass is real thick.
Second one, not as good to me personally, not that it's bad. I find the keys to be a bit repetitive I think. Still though, drums are on point, shares the same quality of sound stage too.
This is my beat of the week. Let me know what you think.

If you are not too bored of my beats I have another one: I flipped a sample from the Sample Flippage Section and this is the result.

Really like the first one of yours as well, particularly the way its structured. Keeps the whole thing interesting. Super chill, it'd be a good one to relax to. Nothing really sounds out of place, except for maybe the volume on the super high note that the string plays. Caught me off guard and broke me out of the vibe.

I can't really add input to the second one, I like the vocal chops I suppose, but the rest feels a bit dull to me, personal preference maybe?

Nice. Shits grimy af. Lots of variety in sound. Really like the changeup at 43 seconds.

Broke my month long slump and actually made something for once. Way out of my wheelhouse too compared to the shit I usually make. I've listened to it to the point that I can't anymore, and every change I made since this version was worse so I guess its time to post it. I had a couple ideas for the end that I just couldn't get to fit and if I continue to scratch my head over it I'm gonna go completely bald.

Maaaan, so many beats to go through.

@Rah.sool - Intimate Friendz is probably my favourite beat from you so far. Nice to hear you on that soulful tip. Nailed the vibe, the sample, the drums. Right down to the filtering. Sweet! No More Dancing is nice too! Not as smooth or to my taste but another one we'll executed. It feels Not as full of complete as the other beat. That's probably because I've played one after the other. Nice work as always!!

@guhanisonline I can't really get in to this one dude. It's a little bit too electronic for me and the mix is playing with my head. I'll have another listen later and see if I can get something constructive for you.

@Kane the MOD Calm Morning is nice. Nicely mixed and executed as always. I'm not 100% sold on the snare/clap. I know you're going for a light / calm sound but I feel it needs something different. It's a bit too simple. I think you can give it a bit more. Why Don't You Show Me I'm glad you did show us and most definitely not bored of your beats! This is super nice! Probably cause it's right up my street again with the vocal byte and sample. Really well executed. Bass is lovely too. Heavy but well used. Nice one!

@MR. MINESTATE Nice. If I didn't see your name I'd have sworn this was a @Rah.sool beat. Vocal byte is great. Captured the vibe of this nicely and used the sample well. Oh, it's done. lol, it's short! Not enough short beats. FYI: I love short beats! Nice one!

@iDeaLoGiK Nice one breaking the slump. Okay, I was warned this was Dirty North before I started. Not really my taste but this is really well executed. Everything hit's nice and drums match the vibe perfectly. Chorus is ridiculous with that filtered sax(?)! Nice one!

Thanks dude, honestly not really my taste either generally. Like I've said before its way out of my wheelhouse, and yes, its a sax.

Here's mine for this week. Remix of Dillon's 83 Kids ft. J57 & Blu

I can't get a decent acapella so there's a bit of unwanted noise throughout. Hoping to get a clean acapella but not heard back as yet.

Nothing here yet.

I cant really say there is any issues with this remix as far as I see. It keep the same vibe as the original. Its dope! very pleasing to the ear.

I like this! Though I am more of a boom bap head, you definitely did your thing on this. I love the quality of the mix. Will check out more of your beats.
