Thanks to everyone who left feedback on my beat.

@InsideOutBeats Nice job man! Very nice beat. 2 things here:
1. a lot of these sounds sound stock, especially the choir sounds.
2. also I feel like the swing on the kick/snare pattern is a little bit off at times.
But very interesting song man, really cool storytelling in the dialogue, and you match that with the progression of your beat.
Great job!

@ck beat Nice job brother! Both beats are really awesome. You definitely have an epic style going for you. I enjoyed both of these.

@Stoned Monk Wow this is awesome man. I really enjoyed this one. Love the ambient sounds and melodies. great sound selection all around. No criticisms here. Nice work.

Nice work man. Drums fit good with melody. But the instrument what started at 1:25 sounds too loud, make it more quiet and your beat will be much better.

now you have the basic loop down, loop it, build on top of it. Maybe throw a nice hard kick on it first, then maybe some shakers.
Or find the key of the track, then add instruments over the top. Maybe a bassline.
That loop should become the foundation, then just keep building upon it.
Its good to see you finally making stuff, just keep it up now, dont stop, try to avoid other distractions that achieve little, and concentrate on getting better and better at making beats. The more you want it, the more you will do it and the better you will get, the more ideas you will have and ways of doing things to achieve what you want to achieve. Like Nike says, "Just Do It".

Well done bimbams! Glad to see you managed to muster something up!

What I will say, is this has feel to it, it makes me nod my head. This is a mega important thing, beyond anything else. It has the magic ingredient that's not really tangible to just explain or do.

The next step is to build on this, loop it for another 4 bars but with another melody or sound coming in.

Great work, keep it up.

How do you feel after getting something posted?

I'm a stan for groove and it's years of knowing what I felt/feel musically that makes me bop my head and/or bounce, rock, roll. I'm officially apart of this community as a beatmaker!

Good good good. Make sure you keep it up. Keep making, try and make more complete things. Get 'em finished get 'em uploaded. Don't have to be perfect. Just get them ideas out

@OGBama, Id like to set you a challenge for this week. Now you have the basis of a beat, the loop, repeat that loop over, add some drums, either loops or individual drum hits. Add a kick, a snare and a closed hat if using individual samples. Turn it into a 1 min beat, try changing the loop at the end of each 8 bars to add a bit of variation, or add a drum fill.

Concept is nice, but the mix needs a little finetuning. Sample could be more present in the mix and the sweeps coming in at the second part are a little too loud. Also, the drums are a little static imo.

I've been crazy busy and not had much time for creation. Got my headphones calibrated. Jesus, what a difference. Also, got a whole new way of mixing. Both going to save me hours of mixing.

Will leave this here for feedback later.

Cheers

Hi, everyone. I'm CK BEAT. Recently I've started to make my beats. Hope you have a time to check it ;)

I like both these beats, on a drill tip. But on both of them I dont think some of the note choices on the 808 match the key of the songs.
I think if you can get all the notes in the right key, both are bangers. The second ones 808 works better than the first one. The mixes could be a lot nicer too.
